It's the first day of class!
Today during class we did a few icebreakers so we could get to know each other. This worked out well because we got to see what we have in common with our classmates and how for the most part, we all have the same goals. It also helped us to think about what kind of teachers we liked most, and how we could strive to be just like them.
For my project to get to know me, I used the About Me website. On this website I chose a picture and wrote a little bio about myself. I then linked my blog website to the webpage so people who visit my webpage will have a direct link to my blog.
The name of my blog is Teaching Through Rose's Eyes. I chose this blog name because I am going to write about my experiences I have and my opinions will be expressed here. Therefore, it will give the people reading it insight to my teaching experience and how I see it!
Dr. Smirnova asked us to watch this video. This video showed how important it is to use technology in order to keep students engaged. Since students are using technology constantly, incorporating it into their education would be very beneficial.
